Choosing a plan: Free, Coach, Classroom or Academy

The right plan depends on three numbers: how many classes you teach, how many students are in each, and how many teachers share the account.

There are four plans: Free, Coach, Classroom and Academy. Prices below are in Thai baht per month. Paying yearly costs 10 times the monthly price, so you get twelve months for the price of ten.

Free (฿0)

One class of up to 10 students. You can write or import your own sets, see replays of every question, use the gradebook, and keep up to 200 questions in your own bank. This is enough for a private tutor with a small group who mainly wants to run their own material in a digital SAT-style screen.

Coach (฿490 a month)

Three classes of up to 30 students each. Coach adds the full Colorbook question bank, standard Colorbook AI analysis of student work, 1:1 live tutoring in tutor mode, and class mocks. Your own bank rises to 500 questions. Yearly: ฿4,900.

Coach suits an independent tutor who teaches a few groups and wants mocks and live sessions.

Classroom (from ฿1,290 a month)

Starts at 5 classes of 25 students. Add classes at ฿150 each and seats at ฿5 per student per class. Classroom adds detailed Colorbook AI analysis, 10 PDF or photo conversions a month, 3 adaptive class sets a week, and live class mode, where you see every student's screen at once. Your own bank rises to 2,000 questions. Yearly, at the base size: ฿12,900.

Classroom suits a teacher or small centre running several classes who wants to convert existing worksheets and teach whole classes live.

Academy (from ฿3,990 a month)

Starts at 10 classes of 30 students and 3 teachers, with each extra teacher at ฿490. Academy adds cohort analysis across many students, 50 conversions a month, adaptive sets for each student as well as for classes, test proctors who can only invigilate, and an unlimited own bank. Yearly, at the base size: ฿39,900.

Academy suits a school or tutoring centre with a team of teachers sharing material and students.

Worked examples

A centre with 7 classes on Classroom

Base Classroom covers 5 classes. Two extra classes at ฿150 each add ฿300. Total: ฿1,290 + ฿300 = ฿1,590 a month.

If three of those classes each need 5 more seats than the base 25, that is 15 extra seats at ฿5: another ฿75, making ฿1,665 a month.

A school with 5 teachers on Academy

Base Academy covers 3 teachers. Two extra teachers at ฿490 each add ฿980. Total: ฿3,990 + ฿980 = ฿4,970 a month, or ฿49,700 if paid yearly.

Extra conversions

Classroom includes 10 PDF or photo conversions a month and Academy 50. Coach has no monthly allowance but can buy packs too. If you need more, extra conversions come in packs: 10 for ฿149 or 50 for ฿590. Student seats: giving students Colorbook Plus, Pro or Max

Separately from your teaching plan, you can buy Colorbook subscriptions for your students and pay for them yourself. Each seat gives a student Colorbook Plus (฿69 a month), Pro (฿199) or Max (฿599). From 5 seats you get 10% off, and from 20 seats 15% off.

This is useful when you want students to have the student features of a paid Colorbook plan without asking each family to subscribe.

The set marketplace

The marketplace sells ready-made sets written by Colorbook to exam accuracy. You buy a set once. On Academy, a set bought by one teacher is shared across the whole team, so the department does not pay for the same set several times.

How to choose

Count classes and students first. If you have one group of 10 or fewer, start on Free. If you need more than one class, or more than 10 students, you need at least Coach.
Decide whether you need mocks and live tutoring. Both start at Coach. Live class mode, seeing every screen at once, starts at Classroom.
Decide whether you will convert worksheets. PDF and photo conversions are included from Classroom.
Count teachers. More than one teacher sharing classes, material and analysis is what Academy is built for.
Start small. It is easier to move up a plan once you know how you use it than to guess in advance.
