Colorbook

Why Colorbook?

There is no shortage of SAT questions online. What is rare is practice that tells you why you got something wrong. That is what Colorbook is built for.

Colorbook is a free digital SAT practice tool that analyses how you think. A score tells you that a question went wrong; your working tells you why. Colorbook keeps the working.

A score report seesColorbook sees• Right or wrong• Your total✓Right or wrong, and your total✓What you highlighted✓What you crossed out✓Seconds spent on each question✓Every answer change, and when✓Where the question turned
The same paper, read two ways.

It practises the real format

Full-length mocks run both sections and all four modules, with adaptive second modules and the break between sections, in the same layout as the test — highlighter, notes, answer eliminator, calculator and reference sheet included. There are 2,000+ questions, tagged by topic and difficulty, and a question that looks doubtful is re-solved from scratch by a model that is never shown the answer key, and withheld if the key does not hold up.

It reads how you worked

Every report shows the passage with your own highlighting still on it, the choices you crossed out, and a timeline of what you did. That is where the useful information is: whether you marked the evidence before committing, whether you eliminated or guessed, and where a question that should have taken a minute took three.

It tells you what to do next

Your Plan turns your results into the next thing to practise, a week around your test date, and a score projection that refuses to guess from too little. Colorbook AI answers questions about your own results, and Deep Dive turns a wrong answer into a lesson.

It is free where it matters

The bank, every practice mode, full mocks, the diagnostic, a weekly full report, Your Plan and 25 AI credits a day cost nothing, and you can sit a mock without an account. Paid plans add more AI; see should I pay for Colorbook?

When to use something else as well

The College Board's own full-length practice tests in Bluebook are the closest thing to the real exam and the best single predictor of your score. Use them too — ideally one near the start and one or two in the final weeks — and use Colorbook for everything in between.

Is Colorbook really free?
The practice tool is: the question bank, every mode, full mocks, a weekly full report, Your Plan and 25 AI credits a day. Optional plans add more AI.
How is Colorbook different from other SAT practice?
It records how you answered each question - highlights, eliminations, timings, answer changes - and reads that to explain why you went wrong, not only that you did.
Should I use Colorbook instead of Bluebook?
Use both. The official practice tests in Bluebook are the best predictor of your score; Colorbook is for the practice and review in between.

2,000+ questions, full-length adaptive mocks, and a report on how you worked. Free.
